Instructor George McCallman is a career pilot and has been flying for over 40 years. His experience totals approx. 24,000 hours in the air, including tail wheel time of 7,000 hours in various aircraft including the Beech 18, C-46, DC-3, DC-6, DC-8, DC10 and the L1011.

Training flights are personalized to each students abilities and goals. Instruction is offered to obtain a DC-3 rating, ATP, or just an hour of instruction for fun. The price includes ground school instruction. A manual can be purchased in advance of your flight.

This Douglas DC-3 was built in 1941. Originally, and still in passenger configuration. This aircraft was a member of the Pan-Am fleet. In the last decade , 600NA has appeared in several films, including the final chase scene of the original "Bad Boys" film. It will be in the upcoming film Lonely Hearts with John Travolta scheduled for release in 2006. This aircraft was occasionally leased by John Travolta for his personal use, and also for passenger flights from Sanford , Florida to the Bahamas.

Currently, the Southeast FAA DC-3 examiner uses this aircraft for his currency.

The aircraft "lives" in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, just south of Daytona Beach. Economical hotel space is conveniently located nearby for pilots coming from out of town.
